Rock climb in Catalonia!
In the Pyrenees Orientales (on the french side of the Pyrenees), and in Catalunya (on the spanish side), you'll find a rock climbing destination which will satisfy even the most demanding climber. Its Mediterranean climate allows you to climb all year round. Even in the summer, when the heat obliges an early morning start, climbing is then rewarded with an afternoon sieste and swim in the sea.
First stop at Vingrau -Tautavel crags, north of Perpignan, then on into Spain for the more challenging free climbing routes of the Parois de la Catalogne; before finishing off at Montserrat on the pillars and domes overlooking Barcelona. Whatever your preference, here you'll find something which matches your expectations.
I run climbing courses suited to all levels of ability. Benefit from climbing in safety under guide supervision, away from the over crowded crags and progress on routes or peaks that are best suited to your ability. It's rather like having a climbing companion to help you make your climbing holiday a successful one, on and off the cliffs: finding the right place to stay, suggesting a good restaurant, tasting good wines...
If you are still undecided about climbing with us, don't miss the useful address page because you may be tempted by our selection of Roussillon vineyards, excellent restaurants and local produce.
