Snow shoeing Exploring the mountains after an abundant snowfall is a privilege that we can all enjoy thanks to the use of snow shoes. Very light to handle and practical to wear over your all-weather walking boots, the snowshoe becomes your companion to into the heart of a white and magical winter landscape. We’ll have time during the course of an outing to marvel at the diversity of ice and snow formations, discover the snow crystals and understand how they are formed ; identify tracks and traces of animal activity which reveal how the plant and animal life in the mountains has had to adapt to survive the harsh winter climate. The choice of itinerary is endless within the Capcir and Cerdagne or Canigou mountain ranges and will vary depending on the snow conditions.
